ABOUT THE HOUSE
The CallBack is a multidisciplinary creative house based in Los Angeles, built to bring expansive artistic visions to life across mediums—film, television, commercial campaigns, music, dance, design, immersive art, and live performance. We move fluidly between formats, allowing stories to take the shape they are meant to inhabit. At the heart of the house is a singular creative perspective: ideas originate here, grow here, and take shape with collaborators whose talents and vision align with each project. We also partner with brands, organizations, and institutions that seek our approach to world-building and storytelling.
Part production studio, part creative incubator, The CallBack is a space where imagination can stretch without limits. Some projects are made for audiences; some exist for the joy of exploration. All are made with intention, curiosity, and craft and supported by resources that value creative labor.
Commercial partnerships bring together talent and tools to realize bold, original concepts. Educational programs — classes, workshops, and intensives — offer access to invaluable knowledge for emerging and established artists alike.
With creative direction by Jamila Glass, The CallBack is a home for work that endures: collaborative, intentional, and exploratory. A space where ideas are nurtured freely and storytelling shapes the culture.

With over two decades of experience, Jamila Glass is a filmmaker, choreographer, and educator creating work across live performance, film, and television, grounded in movement and visual storytelling.
With a director’s eye and a choreographer’s sensitivity, she creates movement that is both emotionally legible and visually precise, fluent in both cinematic and embodied storytelling. Whether leading a professional set or an open-level adult class, Jamila builds environments rooted in clarity, discipline, and care — the kind of creative spaces that invite trust and inspire collaborators to return.
Jamila’s process centers on return — returning to your body, your voice, and your sense of joy — a concept that mirrors The CallBack ethos: relationships worth nurturing, ideas worth refining, work worth calling back for.
“Getting the first call is one thing. Everybody can get the first call. The first call is not what you’re aiming for… But if you get the call back, they really like you. And that’s what you wanna aim for. The call back.” — Robert Glasper, world-class producer and musician
